Description of Speedwell, Thymeleaf (veronica serpyllifolia):
Thymeleaf speedwell is a mat-forming, creeping plant that is a perennial. The stems can reach a foot-long and end with a branching flower stalk. The upper leaves are oval to football-shaped and smaller than the lower leaves, growing somewhat into a conical shape. The flowers are about 1/4 to 1/3 in diameter, have 4 petals, and are pale blue to white.
