Description of Sedge, Annual (Cyperus compressus):
Annual sedge grows from a height of 1/4 to 2-1/2 feet and has a habit of tufting. This species is one of the few sedges that are truly an annual, as most are perennials. Its seedhead is relatively large compared to other sedges and has a clumpier appearance, making it easy to differentiate.
