Description of Pigweed, Tumble (Amaranthus albus):
Tumble pigweed is more shrubby than the other types of pigweed, only growing to a height of 3 feet. It infests cultivated areas, pastures, roadsides, and fields. The leaves are red to purple on the lower side and dark green on the upper side. Blades have very noticeable veins and the stems are pale green, whitish, and smooth.
