Description of Kyllinga, Green (Kyllinga brevifolia):
Green kyllinga is known as a sedge and can create dense mats of the plant due to spreading via rhizomes (stems that creep along the surface), although it also spreads by seed. It can adapt to most mowing heights, making it difficult to eliminate without chemical applications of the post-emergent herbicides listed below.
