Description of Common Groundsel (Senecio vulgaris):
Common groundsel is poisonous to cattle and horses, while toxic to humans. It can cause irreversible liver damage and possibly death. It grows from 4 to 18 inches in height and has yellow disk flowers, deeply lobed leaves that may either be smooth or hairy.
