Brown Ring Patch Fungicide

Waitea circinata Fungicide

Description of Brown Ring Patch (Waitea circinata):
Brown ring patch is a common problem on Poa annua and Poa trivialis, as well as creeping bentgrass. Although, it does not seem to affect perennial ryegrass, fescues, or kentucky bluegrass. Unlike Rhizoctonia fungi that causes brown patch, this fungus affects foliage, stems, crowns, and roots. It ends up having a sunken look due to the fungus eating through the thatch.

This particular fungus is limited to putting greens.
