Brown Patch Fungicide

Rhizoctonia solani Fungicide

Description of Brown Patch (Rhizoctonia solani):
Brown patch fungus is a turf fungus which appears in a rough, circle-shaped patch that ranges from 6 inches to many feet in diameter. The patches are yellow, tan, or brown and the effected leaves are typically standing upright. The chief distinguishing feature of Rhizoctonia brown patch appears during periods of warm, humid weather, when dark, purplish “smoke rings” half an inch to two inches wide may border the diseased areas. The “smoke rings” are more pronounced in the early morning, usually fading by the middle of the day. “Smoke rings” are more commonly seen on close-cut grass.
According to the manufacturer approved labels: The following 8 fungicides, applied at the listed application rates, will control Brown Patch.
