Yard Mastery 12-12-12 Starter Fertilizer Fertilizer
With 3% Iron and Bio-Nite™
"Starter Fertilizer Fixes Everything!" That is one of the early phrases Allyn said often and it still holds true. If you need to get a good amount of all the macronutrients and a nice complement of micronutrients for your lawn, Yard Mastery Starter Fertilizer, the "Triple 12" is your go-to for premium elements - formulated specifically for DIYers.
Most of the nitrogen in this blend is ammonium sulfate, a premium N source that brings a really nice stealy-blue-green color to turf and interacts well with the other elements in the overall blend.
12% phosphorous is plenty to push roots in an existing lawn or stimulate rooting in your seed, sod, plug or sprig project.
Rounding out the macros is 12% potassium. Here we have opted for the premium formulation, sulfate of potash, known to have a lower salt index.
As with all Yard Mastery blends, we have also included a nice amount of iron at 3% and a smattering of other micronutrients including boron, copper, manganese, molybdenum and zinc.
