Globe sedge is a type of sedge found in sandy and moist habitats. It's very similar to cylindrical sedge, although globe sedge seedheads are round and cylindrical sedge seedheads are oblong. They're easily identifiable, like other sedges, by their triangular or pyramidal stems.
