Description of Knapweed (Centaurea spp.):
Knapweed, including Diffuse knapweed, Meadow knapweed, Russian knapweed, Spotted knapweed (Centaurea stoebe), and Squarrose knapweed, grow in a height of up to 6 feet. They contain a single pink to purple flowerhead and short hairs with black tips on the bottom bulb of the flower. It is a noxious weed.
