Description of Jewelweed (Impatiens capensis):
Jewelweed is a tall-growing herb ranging from 20 to 100 inches in height. The name comes from dew or raindrops forming sparkling droplets on the leaves, which resembled jewels. They produce showy flowers that are yellow with red centers and in the shape of a horn or trumpet.
