Description of Blue Toadflax (Nuttallanthus canadensis):
Canada toadflax grows up to 1-1/2 feet tall. Additionally, there are often multiple leafy stems at the base of the plant, but having flowering stalks that are more branched. The stem of blue to violet flowers is about 8 inches in length. It spreads by rhizomes, making it quite invasive.
