Description of Sowbugs (Oniscidea):
Sowbugs, often mistaken as pillbugs and also may be referred to as woodlice, grow from 1/4 to 1/2 inches long and are a bluish-gray to brown color. They mostly feed on decomposing organic matter but will eat seedlings and small plants.
