Description of Pink Patch (Limonomyses roseipelli):
Pink match is a disease of turfgrass which closely resembles red thread. It appears as roughly circular, pinkish red to tan patches that range from 2 to 4 inches in diameter. When the turf is wet, it can appear to have pink cotton-candy like threads on the grass blades and soil surface.
