Description of Teasel (Dipsacus):
Teasel, sometimes called Fuller's teasel, is a tall and spiny short-lived perennial which quickly dies after going to seed. It spreads by the standing plant and seeds being mowed over and dispersed. When left alone to its own devices, it can grow from 1.5 to 6.5 feet tall. The end of the plant has prickly bulbs.
