Description of Stinkgrass (eragrostis cilianesis):
Stinkgrass gets its name due to the fact that it emits a very unpleasant odor. It's tufted, and grows 6 to 24 inches in height. The seedheads become visible from July to September when it reproduces by seed. The seedhead itself is between 1/3 of an inch and 6 inches long and 1/3 to 2 inches wide.
