Description of Quackgrass (elytriga repens):
Quackgrass, also known as devil's grass, is a creeping and sod-forming perennial grass. it is aggressive and spreads by yellowish-white rhizomes and seed. The rhizomes can spread 23 inches or greater before shooting out another bunch. Because of the rhizomes being broken, it is difficult to remove mechanically and a chemical solution is necessary.
