Description of Plantain, Paleseed (plantago virginica):
Paleseed plantain has leaves which reach between 2 and 4 inches in length, have soft hairs, and smooth edges. It speads from seed and the seedhead is compared to a rat tail. It has high survivability in the lawn due to its low growing habit and being able to avoid the mower blades.
According to the manufacturer approved labels: The following weed killer, applied at the listed application rates, will control Paleseed Plantain.
