Description of Trampweed, Facelis (facelis retusa):
Trampweed is a type of weed that is part of the sunflower family. It's common in the south-central and southeastern united states. It reaches heights of 4 to 6 inches and has alternating wedge-shaped leaves you can find a small tooth at the tip. The upper surface of the leaf is green, but the lower area is densely filled with fuzzy gray hairs.
