Description of Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus):
Cornflower, aka "bachelor's button," is well known for its color which is described as "cornflower blue." It belongs to the daisy family and can grow from between 1 to 3 feet in height. The leaves are grayish-green and the flowers blue. It blooms from June to September.
