Description of Bullnettle (Cnidoscolus texanus):
Bull nettle often causes a burning sensation and rash when skin is brushed on the stinging hairs of the stem. They're perennial and able to withstand drought and soil conditions that are poor. They have a deep root system and spread via seed.
