Controls Poa annua, crabgrass, and other grassy weeds
Bensumec™ 4 LF Pre-Emergent Grass & Weed Herbicide provides effective control of annual grasses, including crabgrass, Poa annua, and goosegrass. It’s labeled for use on established Bahiagrass, bentgrass, fescue, perennial bluegrass, zoysiagrass, and other listed turfgrasses in residential lawns, and on golf course greens, tees, and bentgrass fairways. Bensumec easily emulsifies to ensure complete mixing, and eliminates spray-tank layering or clogging, even with limited agitation.

Maximum Yearly Limits
Apply at a maximum of 6 1⁄4 gallons (50 pints) of BENSUMEC™ 4LF per acre (18 fluid ounces per 1,000 square feet) per year in two or more applications depending on the weed species and degree of infestation.
Water Instructions
BENSUMEC™ 4LF must be watered into the soil immediately after application. Irrigate with 1⁄2 to 1 inch of water following the herbicide application to established lawns.
Before Seeding Instructions
Do not reseed within 4 months after application.

Instructions:

Or, apply 5.6 of 7.3 fluid ounces of BENSUMEC™ 4LF per 1,000 square feet with spray volumes of 1.8-2.5 gallons per 1,000 square feet. When a weed program involves two to three applications of BENSUMEC™ 4LF for crabgrass, goose grass and annual bluegrass (Poa annua), the rate of application may be reduced. The rate recom - mendations are 17⁄8-21⁄2 gallons of product per acre, or 15-20 pints of product per acre, or 5.6 to 7.3 fluid ounces of product per 1,000 square feet. Use the higher rate for heavier infestations.
