Acclaim Extra Herbicide

Annual and perennial grass control

Acclaim Extra Logo
Acclaim Extra is a selective post-emergence herbicide that controls annual and perennial grasses in turf. A systematic herbicide that works in a single treatment, Acclaim is one of the only post-emergence herbicides that can control crabgrass and goosegrass effectively with good tolerance on desirable turf. And it does so in a wide range of growth stages – from spikes to 5-tillers.

Maximum Yearly Limits
Do not apply more than a total of 120 fl oz of product/A (2.75 fl oz/1,000 sq ft) per year.
Time Between Applications
Avoid applying repeat applications of Acclaim Extra Herbicide sooner than 14 days after the previous application.
Mowing Instructions
Do not mow treated areas for at least 24 hours to allow time for penetration and translocation into the grass weeds. The effectiveness of Acclaim Extra Herbicide is reduced when grass clippings interfere with thorough spray coverage of the target weeds.
Water Instructions
Rainfall or irrigation before spray deposit has dried may cause a reduction in grass control. Allow spray deposit to dry at least one hour before irrigation.
After Seeding Instructions
Fescues and ryegrass may be overseeded immediately following Acclaim Extra Herbicide applications. All other grass species must be overseeded after a 21-day waiting period.
Surfactant Instructions
The addition of a surfactant will improve coverage.
