Description of Beetles, Oriental (Anomala orientalis):
Oriental beetles larvae have an appetite for the roots of the grass, causing significant damage to the plant. Later on, when they grow into beetles, they fly to the trees and do damage on the leaves. They're similar in size to Japanese beetles; approximately 1/2 inch in length. They coloring varies from brown to black.
