Earwigs Insecticide

Dermaptera spp. Insecticide

Description of Earwigs (Dermaptera spp.):
Earwigs are commonplace in folklore, but they do not burrow into your ears and lay eggs in your brain. They're easy to identify by their pincers on the butt of the insect. They can use the pincers offensively and defensively. They are only considered minor pests to the lawn because they feed on dead and decaying material--not living.
According to the manufacturer approved labels: The following 9 insecticides, applied at the listed application rates, will control Earwigs.

Page 3 Featuring Verge Granule Technology around the building adjacent to the foundation (perimeter treatment) to stop or limit earwigs from getting indoors. Earwigs are attracted to moisture around homes, particularly when the weather turns hot and dry. For best results, eliminate damp, moist conditions in crawl spaces under houses, around exterior water spigots, air-conditioning units and along house foundations. Also, for best results, reduce lighting around doors, windows and other potential entry sites or use exterior sodium vapor yellow lights which attract fewer insects compared to white, neon, halide, or mercury vapor lights.
