Carpenter Bees Insecticide
Xylocopa spp. Insecticide
Description of Carpenter Bees (Xylocopa spp.):
Carpenter bees, like their name, tend to bore into sound wood and wood structures for their nests. Males cannot string and females do not usually attack. If found in the lawn, that means they are nesting in some nearby wood structure like your deck or home.
A humane method to remove Carpenter bees is to catch them in a butterfly net and then suck them into a shop vac. Then, you must drive them a minimum of 7 miles away to release them... otherwise they will return.
