Description of Carpenter Ants (Camponotus spp.):
Carpenter ants are the largest ant in North America and are found in the home, but also can be found in the American lawn. Most species are black in color, but can also be brownish-red. They can be identified by the mounds that they leave in the lawn. Saturating the mound with an insecticide (ones that affect ants are listed below) is sufficient to eradicate them from the lawn.

Instructions:
Use the higher rate for fast knockdown and increased residual control. Dense or excessive (greater than 3 inches) lawn height and arid conditions may require higher volume application rates. Repeat application if necessary. Application in combination with compatible surfactants or wetting agents may enhance penetration.
