Description of Summer Patch (Magnaporthe poae):
Summer patch, also known as poa patch, creates tan or yellow circular areas that are up to 1 foot in diameter where the turf is dying or already dead. This disease has been reported to be on creeping bentgrass, perennial ryegrass, hard fescue, chewings fescue, and, most destructively, Kentucky bluegrass.
