Description of Coprinus Snow Mold (Coprinus psychrombidus):
Coprinus snow mold, aka cottony snow mold, appears at the point of snowmelt and leaves the turfgrass with a layer of white and wooly mycelium. This type of snow mold is a minor compared to a more devastating one like fusarium patch. The leaves become a brownish-black color and is caused by prolonged periods of deep snow.
According to the manufacturer approved labels: The following 2 fungicides, applied at the listed application rates, will control Coprinus Snow Mold.

Instructions:
For prevention, apply in fall before turf has stopped all growth activity. Apply second application in early spring when soil temperatures reach 55-60°F or when disease first appears. Instructions:
