Description of Sage, Mediterranean (Salvia aethiopis):
Mediterranean sage releases a pungent and sage-like odor when the tissue is crushed. Most people use it as an ornamental plant in gardens. The leaves are greenish-blue and slightly notched. It has a wide taproot that makes it a perennial weed. The flowers are small and white.
