Fireweed Weed Killer

Chamaenerion spp. Herbicide

Description of Fireweed (Chamaenerion spp.):
Fireweed is a very common leafy, annual broadleaf weed that doesn't root property, thus the roots sit near the surface of the soil in the thatch layer. They can easily be removed by pulling them out. Because pre-emergent herbicides work in the soil, they are ineffective against this weed that grows in the thatch layer. It's a cool-season weed.
